Fun, Food, and a Flute (...I mean Clarinet)

Well, after a fun and busy weekend here at NLG, we’re taking today to get things in order and catch our breath! Here are some highlights from our weekend:

One of the best things about it was having Don Nedobeck for Gallery Night on Saturday. Don is a wonderful artist who paints quirky animals as well as a great musician who is part of a Dixieland band (if you didn’t already know). We had an array of refreshments available for visitors to enjoy while they listened as Don and his band member Jim played. It was so fun to watch, especially when Don played his clarinet. Everyone else enjoyed it too!

It was great to talk and hear stories from people who grew up with Don’s books. One person even had brought in an original work from many years ago for Don to sign again!

That was such a fun night! Thanks to all who came out and we’re looking forward to next year!
