The Art of Biking

Northern Lights Gallery artist Terry Habeger is not only an incredible potter and painter (see images below) but he’s also an avid bicyclist.

We asked Terry what his bicycling plans were for the next couple of months and he’s extremely busy!

This July and August, Terry plans to “Bike Wisconsin” which may lead him to the Mississippi River then north from there.

His past trips are just as impressive.  In 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010, Terry did a 4 stage ride across America starting in Astoria, Oregon, and ended in Bar Harbor, Maine.  This was mostly a solo trip with some camping along the way.  It took him a total of 75 days and 4,600 miles!

In 2011, Terry and a friend circumnavigated Lake Superior which was a total of 17 days and 1,100 miles!

Terry is currently planning a trip in the Canadian Rockies in 2013.

We look forward for the travel updates!
